What you'll do
Forward·Inc runs a six-month incubator (January–June) for newcomers and refugees who want to start or grow a business. You join as a coach, mentor, or student consultant working directly with early-stage founders — helping them test ideas, understand the Dutch market, and build something real. Sessions take place in Amsterdam (Mondays) and Rotterdam (Thursdays).
Three ways to get involved:
- Business Coach — guide a founder through idea validation and first steps. 3–4 hours a week during working hours.
- Student Consultant — work hands-on alongside a coach on a specific business, ~8 hours a week for 5 months.
- Mentor — contribute sector knowledge (marketing, pitching, sales, legal) on a flexible schedule.
What it takes
- Relevant experience in business, entrepreneurship, or a specialist field
- Patience and an ability to explain things simply across language and culture gaps
- Available to commit to at least one full programme cycle (Jan–Jun)
- Dutch or English — most participants work in English
